CLINTON THUNDER

What's New with the Clinton Thunder?
This past Saturday was opening day for the Thunder. Although we did not win our opening game we were able to get back into the swing of soccer. We were also able to determine the areas that we needed to work on, which helped us earn our first victory of the season on Sunday.

SUNDAY'S GAME

On Sunday the girls came out fired up. They played with a lot of heart and effort. The defense put forth a tremendous effort, limiting the oppponent to only one goal. The offense passed the ball extremely well and was able to score three goal. We are still going to work on spreading the field and dropping back on defense, but overall the game was excellent.

COACHES COMMENTS

I am quite proud of the way the girls came back after a tough loss on Saturday. I am certain if the girls continue to put forth the effort that they put out on Sunday the THUNDER will have a great season.
